The RØDE PodMic USB is a broadcast-quality dynamic microphone designed for podcasters, streamers, gamers, and content creators, featuring both XLR and USB-C connectivity for maximum flexibility.
Built with a rugged all-metal body and integrated swing mount, it offers a cardioid pickup pattern for focused, clear audio while minimising background noise.
Its internal pop filter and shock mounting reduce plosives and vibrations. At the same time, the USB output features a high-gain, low-noise “Revolution” preamp and powerful on-board DSP with APHEX effects, including Aural Exciter, Big Bottom, high-pass filter, noise gate, and compressor, settings that can be customised and saved via RØDE software.
The mic also supports zero-latency headphone monitoring with volume control, works across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, and delivers a frequency range of 20 Hz–20 kHz with up to 148 dB SPL handling, making it a versatile and durable choice for professional and home studio use.
